This press release just came my way this evening:

Armando’s numbers are impressive given the fact that he is not currently an elected official. I still believe De La Libertad and Solorio will split many of the same voters and Alvarez will cruise to victory. Woman candidates do well in S.A. and there is only one in this race. Solorio is a weak campaigner and Alvarez and De La Libertad will both have a field day attacking him. Pulido can’t save Solorio this time.

Anon, I respectfully disagree with you regarding Ms. Alvarez. Ms. Alvarez was the only female candidate in her last go around against Umberg and lost. Alvarez is also a weak campaigner, I expect to see a surprise at the end having Armando De La Libertad pull ahead.

Mr. Rodriguez, I hope you are right about De La Libertad…he would be much better than either Alvarez or Solario. My thought was that with two Latino men, a Latina would pull votes from those who want to vote for a woman…that said..I hope you are right and Mr. Liberty wins the day!

Anon, Here is how you can make sure I am right…speak to your neighbors, friends, co workers, whomever about Armando De La Libertad and urge them to vote for him, and if you have the time go out and volunteer. I am sure he can use your help.
