It appears that Assemblyman Van Tran is once again trying to save us from the Mexicans. He announced in a press release today that he led a delegation of his fellow Mexican-hating Republicans on a helicopter tour of the border area in San Diego. Exactly what in the Hell does this have to do with the 68th Assembly District that Tran ostensibly serves?
Apparently Tran’s latest wild copter ride was part of his request for federal funding for the National Guard to bolster the Border Patrol. Excuse me, but why is a state legislator poking his nose in business that pertains to the U.S. government? If anyone ought to be looking into this it ought to be members of Congress.
Of course Tran wants to go to Congress, but Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez is standing in his way. Thank God! So all he can do is pretend he is a Congressman and waste our money paying for these stupid helicopter stunts. I wonder how much this little jaunt cost the taxpayers?
If only the Democrats had the huevos to take on Tran. But they don’t. Instead the focus of their enmity is Supervisor Janet Nguyen, who is NOT one of the Trannies – those who blindly do what Tran tells them to do. I am not sure if the O.C. Democrats will even field a candidate against Tran next year. Typical.
Who is the greater threat to the working poor and area Latinos? Not Supervisor Nguyen. The real problem is Van Tran – but the Democrats could care less. In fact rumor has it that their Vietnamese candidate against Nguyen, Hoa Van Tran, is himself a Trannie. That figures. I wonder if he hates Mexicans too?
“I wonder if he hates Mexicans too?”
How would you explain you girl Janet’s relationship with the Latino community? She had some pretty racist mail during her campaign against Trung. Each tried to one up the other as to who hated Mexican’s more.
Please spare me the “talking point” about Janet giving money to the community. That doesn’t make up for those vile mailers she sent out.
Sean,
There you go again. Janet had ONE mailer go out, in Vietnamese, that could possibly be construed as being anti Latino. Her consultant was responsible for that missive. She has promised not to go there again. Janet can be believed as she has a record of honesty, as opposed to your boy Sal Tinajero, who has a history of lying and flip-flopping.
Speaking of vile mailers, the worst ever were the ones Pulido and company sent out about Sal. But now Sal – and you – are allies of Pulido. What a strange turn of events. It is very funny to see Pulido play the both of you.
I will not support any Vietnamese including Janet Nguyen in upcoming election. We latinos need to vote for our own people.
“We latinos need to vote for our own people.”……. And we White, Orientals and Blacks must make sure that you will never win — #3.
H. Van Tran is not a trannie, in fact far from it!
He’s working pretty hard and reaching out to latino’s and core dem’s. Of course if someone with high name recognition jumps in that will turn things on it’s ear.
But until then Viva H. Van Tran!
It disturbs me that some folks are encouraging voting for their own. How about this concept, why not vote for the best? Or more to the point, why not vote for those candidates who are into building relationships across ethnicities?
People like Sergio Contreras, Katrina Foley, KimOanh Nguyen-Lam or Sharon Quirk? These are great examples of leaders who are not only really smart and ethical, but also listen to their constituents and are truly interested in building bridges, rather than building walls.
Also, Hoa Tran is not aligned with the Trannies. He is co-founder of the Vietnamese Dems. and blasts the Tran club every week on a Vietnamese talk show.
#5,
Oh really? Well then why hasn’t Hoa issued a press release denouncing Van Tran’s border excursion, as I did in this post?
If EVER there was an opportunity to rip Van Tran, this was it. And Hoa took a pass. What does that spell? T-R-A-N-N-I-E.
#6,
See my response to #5. I am STILL waiting for Hoa to respond to Van Tran’s anti-Mexican press release.
Here is my challenge to Hoa – denounce Van Tran’s anti-Mexican border trip, here on this blog or in a formal press release. Do it by Monday or deal with being called a Trannie.
I don’t know why we have to waste good spaces in writng about weird named vietnamese people. I am sick of their unsanitary, smelling markets in our town anyway. I have hard time driving around little saigon area without stopping constantly.
Please no more writings on vietnamese people. My friends get upset to see so much of this blog’s issues were focused on these asian people and their little soap opera.
You purposefully advertise Nguyen girl that I have never heard of nor have any interest in meeting her in the future.
Let’s concentrate on more vital issues covering all OC residents.
Hell, someone NEEDS to save us from the Mexicans!
