Today’s Orange County Register plastered their front page story…all about the Orange County Fair Board and the changes that are coming regarding the perks and stuff they get every year!
If it wasn’t for Art Pedroza and the OC Juice….that article and the actual policies and procedures of the OC Fair Board would have never changed or made to upgrade to the 21st Century. Although we believed that these perks were not as egregious as might have been. A few numbers were pretty amazing however: 350 single day passes for each Board Member…..but, you do have to consider the number of days for the Fair…what 7 or 10 days? 26 Orchestra seats per board member….doesn’t seem like too much but they are considering changing that to just six seats per performance.
Anyway, because of Art’s efforts….people started paying attention and that is a great side effect of blogging in general and blogging in specific for the Orange County Juice!
Finally, congratulations to the OC Fair Board for attempting to do a better job of oversight.

Blushing! Thanks for the kudos. i am just glad that the OC Fair Board might actually do something to change their current greedy policies. The people should come first – not the politicians!
