The documentary about Farrah’s courageous battle against cancer drew an estimated 8.9 million viewers.
“Farrah’s Story” was NBC’s most-watched program it its time slot in more than a year – excluding the Olympics – according to estimates cited by the Associated Press.
The film documented Farrah’s diagnosis with anal cancer in 2006 and followed her as the disease progressed and spread to her liver. The documentary showed the “Charlie’s Angels” star keeping her sense of humor and remaining positive while pursuing various conventional and alternative treatments aimed at curing her disease.
Farrah’s best friend Alana Stewart produced the film.

Interesting, she was one year younger than I.
So without Farrah now, I live on borrowed time!
