What a year it has been for politics here in Orange County. Now you can vote for the “Orange County Political Turkey of the Year!” Here are your choices:
- Mike “Drippy” Duvall, former Assemblyman – Do we even need to mention what happened to this gay-bashing Republican pervert? Adios Drippy!
- Linda Ackerman, failed GOP Assembly candidate – She and her termed out husband Dick raised and spent a fortune, which they spent on horrible nasty ads against Chris Norby. She easily spent $200 a vote – and Norby blew her back to Irvine. What are the odds she will run again? (Hint, I don’t think so!)
- Andy Quach, Westminster City Councilman with a DUI – Andy wiped out a power pole, tested positive for a vast quantity of alcohol, and still got paid several thousand by GOP Congressional candidate Van Tran, for his “advice.” Here’s some free advice boys – stick to drinking milk!
- Mike Carona, indicted former “America’s Sheriff” and still stuck in court limbo – Is it something in the O.C. water that creates all these pervy Republicans? Carona is still appealing his conviction. And we are stuck paying him a HUGE pension!
- Tim Whitacre, failed manager of the Anthony Adams Recall Campaign – Well, this guy was given $200K to get the job done. And he utterly failed as the signatures were rejected by the L.A. and San Bernardino Voter Registrars. Whitacre smells a conspiracy. We think he is DONE in O.C. politics!
- Frank Barbaro, Chair of the DPOC - Failed to pick up Council seats in working class La Habra and Garden Grove. Failed to defeat weakened Congressman Ken Calvert and Assemblyman Van Tran by not giving much support to their Dem opponents. Failed to do all that with Barack Obama at the top of the ballot! And he still claims Mike Carona was innocent! Why is this guy still in charge of the Democratic Party of Orange County?
- Robert Bisno, bankrupt developer and Pulido backer – Tried to use eminent domain to ruin lives in Baldwin Park. Then got tossed out of his home in Beverly Hills! Something tells me he won’t be helping Santa Ana Mayor Miguel Pulido next year…
