He’s Back…
Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman has jumped on board the anti-Mexican Crazy Train. Her latest campaign mailer makes it clear that former Governor Pete Wilson is directing her campaign strategy.
In the mailer, Whitman slams her opponent, Steve Poizner, for not hating immigrants as much as she does.
Whitman also claims to be “tough as nails” when it comes to stopping immigrants. She says she is against Amnesty, with no exceptions.
Contrast that with U.S. Senate candidate Charlie Crist who today made a point we have brought up here many times. If we give citizenship to Latinos who are already here, they might end up saving Social Security by paying into it at a time when so many Baby Boomers are retiring.
If Whitman wins the primary, and somehow prevails in the general, there is little doubt she will hire her hater friends at Red County right away. I wonder what office she will appoing Matt “Jerbal” Cunningham to?
Electing a Candidate is about Values and Common Sense.
Immigration reform and enforcement, or not is the domain of the federal government. The Governor does not dictate immigration law. Yet Meg Whitman has come out against immigration reform/amnesty. Period.
So she is against a comprehensive and real solution. Why?
1) Values. Conservative Evangelicals have come out in support of Immigration Reform. So Whitman’s values are opposed to those of Conservative Evangelicals.

Deportation has not worked and is impractical, this is a reality.
2) Ending College Admission for children of illegal aliens. This is Mean-Spirited and demonstrates lack of common sense.
Whitman would punish the children of illegal aliens and penalize them for the “sins of the parents”. Most of these youth were brought to the US as children. They have grown up with our American Values, and Pledging Allegiance to the US flag. They want an opportunity to contribute back through higher education which ensures they would pay more in taxes and contribute more to our society. Yet, Whitman wants to ensure that they become part of an underground economy, and that they are part of a labor that can be oppressed and if oppressed, this will suppress wages for all Californians.
So Whitman is for suppressed Wages for Californians.
3) Flyer says she will build an “Economic Fence”. This is again the domain of the Federal govt. It appears she will be Duplicating and implementing an additional Double layer.
So Whitman is for overburdened California businesses.
4) Drivers Licenses for Illegals. This is a Safety Issue.
Again a reality is that they are here. So Whitman will ensure that illegal immigrant drivers can not meet or demonstrate safe driving requirements. Whitman will also ensure that illegal immigrants can not be held accountable in case of an accident.
We need a 21st Solutions and not a 20th solution.
Former Governor Peter Wilson of unconstitutional Prop 187 fame, and from 1994, Says that “Whitman is Tough as Nails”.
Not demonstrating Values or Common Sense, and following failed policies of the Past, this shows that Whitman is just a bunch of “Rusty Nails”!

I don’t believe that either Whitman or Poizner will do the drastic things to immigrants they are saying in these flyers for two reasons: 1) Both Whitman and Poizner have a history of lying to advance themselves, and now are lying to their xenophobic fans solely to get themselves elected; 2) Both are savvy business people who intend to keep undocumented immigrants here, but without legal status so they can be kept intimidated into working cheap, and too fearful to complain of abuse.

The last time I stood up for my fellow human beings that happened to be “illegal” in Orange County I got two racist death threats from some upstanding OC resident. That was in the mid-90s. And I am Asian American.
We who are actually from the border towns are sick and tired of the pendejos that kept coming around these parts stirrin’ up hate during election years… from the Klan “border watch” to Pete Wilson to Meg Whitman. You don’t get to use us in your campaign of hate and fear. We know what you are.

Meg Whitman is proposing her C.U.N.T policy (Californian’s under new termoil), inorder for the common man to stand up. F*ck her. It’s time the people take this state back, and rid ourselves of political broken promises. We can make the difference, not her. Boycott walmart, SAMs club, fast food, and any non organized or nonemployee owned businesses. Join together, as a whole not as multiple groups. Legalize marijuana and tax the sh*t out of it. Amnesty to who is here, who ever is not, too bad. You cannot make all citizens happy in this country but always remember the majority rules here in America. Go vote.

Anti-Mexican Crazies? Because she came out in support of enforcing the basic immigration laws that every other nation (including Mexico) enjoys? I thought this was a conservative blog. I can see now that it is clearly not. Your spreading misinformation and emotional nonsense to disguise the real issues… And when that doesn’t work you can always call people racists right? I don’t like flip floppers. I heard Meg say she wouldn’t do anything about illegal immigration and now she will? It’s a campaign ‘fake promise’ that we will never see. Candidates will promise the moon on a platter, but then once elected, they won’t deliver their promises. Same old, same old.
The problem with voting against Meg is that we end up with Brown. 4 years of that and Mexico may have a northern border issue.
