This past Saturday night I had the pleasure of riding along with the Santa Ana Police Department’s elite “Strike Force Team”. The “Strike Force Team” is comprised of the best of the best of our city’s police officers and is charged with tackling the worst of the criminal element lurking around in our city. Santa Ana’s slogan used to be the “Education City.” Now we just have a lot of graffiti… Will Santa Ana Graffiti fighter Thomas Gordon get his way on Monday? “A proposed law drawn up by community members to combat this city’s chronic graffiti problem will get an initial hearing before the City Council on Monday,” according to the O.C. Police were first called about a fight happening at the school’s volleyball court at 425 S. Register Prevention Magazine has named Santa Ana – yes, Santa Ana – one of the top walking cities in America, calling it a place with “amazing nature walks” that is “great for fitness walkers,” according to the O.C. Register. My friend and fellow Libertarian, retired Judge Jim Gray, appeared on page two of the L.A. And now “a man was robbed at knifepoint by two men who got away with a [...] “A 16-year-old boy who was beaten and stabbed by a group of six men apparently didn’t surrender the iPod they wanted to steal, police said today,” according to the O.C. Register. You may have heard that the DEA arrested 755 people this week with “suspected ties to Mexican cartels, especially one out of the state of Sinaloa,” according to the O.C. Register. |
