Observers of the Santa Ana City Council may have noticed something of late, Councilmember Carlos Bustamante is more irrelevant than ever. It appears that his colleagues, with the exception of David Benavides, have grown tired of Bustamante’s antics and the fact that they see him as someone whose word means nothing. Inside sources tell me that the “Usual Suspects” aren’t happy with the way things are going at Santa Ana City Hall these days and they are letting Mayor Miguel Pulido know about. According to my sources the “Usual Suspects” believe that Mayor Pro Tem Claudia Alvarez appears to be exercising too much power on [...] “Fraudio” Gallegos, the frequently failed blogger, who is now peddling his garbage over at the Liberal OC has chosen to carry water for the “Usual Suspect” gang with his latest post. Gallegos is claiming that the Santa Ana City Council’s Public Safety Committee is trying to hold its meeting in secret, to which I say [...] In what can only be described as a clear cut indication that the “Usual Suspects” reign of terror is just about over the Santa Ana City Council removed “underboss” Glenn Stroud from the city’s Community Redevelopment and Housing Commission at tonight’s city council meeting effective immediately. A longtime “capo” in the notorious Santa Ana political gadfly gang known as the “Usual Suspects” angrily defended the group at Monday evenings city council meeting. Debbie McEwen, the gangs angriest and most bitter bigot, addressed the most recent criticism of the gadflies, particularly the scathing comments directed at them by our fabulous Mayor Pro [...] KOCE-TV channel 50, the local PBS station, has recently been televising a locally produced show promoting the gentrification of downtown Santa Ana. Perhaps the most intriguing race will be for the Ward 2 seat currently held by Councilwoman Michele Martinez.
