If Santa Ana Mayor Miguel Pulido could be honest with himself, he would register as a Republican and join the Minutemen. Remember that he backed Prop. 187 and he put a Minuteman on the Santa Ana Library Board. And of course he backed the immigrant bashing Republican Rosie Avila for the SAUSD School Board for [...] Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez’ new Christmas card once again features her in a fun pose with her cat, Gretzky. I imagine that the motorcycle she is riding on might be the one she used to run over this year’s Republican opponent in the 47th Congressional District, retired SAUSD Trustee Rosie “God is mad at Santa Ana” [...] Roman Reyna came from behind to become the newest Trustee on the SAUSD’s School Board. He will replace outgoing Republican Trustee Rosie Avila, who famously once said that “God is mad at Santa Ana.” Given the disaster that is the SAUSD, I can only assume God is still mad! Rosie Avila Thank you Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez! You soundly defeated crazed SAUSD Trustee Rosie Avila by a massive margin, effectively ending her political career. For that the people of Santa Ana are most grateful! When folks give money to Assemblyman Jose Solorio do they realize that he might use it to promote Republicans? That is exactly what he did this week when he used his Assembly campaign account to send out a mailer touting a group of local elected officials that includes Republican SAUSD School Board Member Rob Richardson. Class surprises lesbian teacher on wedding [...] Can Republican Congressional candidate Rosie Avila possibly become more offensive? As it stands she combined her campaign kick-off party with an orgy of hatred against gay marriage. Just check out the cake she served (pictured above)! God only knows what sort of cream filling it had. Calling all haters! Right wing nut Rosie Avila, who is running against Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez in the 47th Congressional District, is holding her “Congressional Campaign Kick Off” on Thursday, at 5:30 p.m., and she is combining it with a “Marriage Amendment Rally.” Barf! If you were trying to lose, and lose bad, while challenging Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez, it would make sense to make illegal immigration the cornerstone of your campaign. It appears that Republican Rosie Avila, who is running for the 47th Congressional District, is looking to lose by a very wide margin, as she was interviewed by [...] When it comes to Rosie Avila one hardly knows where to start. But her new campaign website does offer a good look at all her overall nuttiness. The most ironic part of her site is the picture above, where Rosie has surrounded herself with children who appear to be immigrants. But how does Rosie REALLY [...] It is hard to take SAUSD Trustee Rosie “God is mad at Santa Ana” Avila seriously, but the total number of votes she garnered in the primary yesterday, for the 47th Congressional District, was somewhat close to what the incumbent, Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez, tallied (see the graphic above). |
