I missed the following letter, which appeared in the O.C. Register on January 21, but it is a good read…especially since it asks us to Vote No on Measure D!
A Measure D thumbs-down
Our hopes and prayers have been answered, and it’s only the first month of the new year. Our city of Santa Ana has so little graffiti, so few gang problems, plenty of new businesses coming into our city, no commercial or neighborhood code violations, no traffic problems, our many apartments are not overcrowded
Pedroza is such a scum sucking sleazeball who is so jeleous of Tim Whitacre that he’ll say and do anything to try and discredit the man.
Sorry to disappoint you, sleazeball, but I know Tim and I know he’s against Measure D. Too bad you can’t tell the truth to save your soul. As for your other rediculous claims about him doing things only for money, I challenge you to produce any proof from any campaign finance statements. Let me guess – there aren’t any “but you have it from a reliable source, a little pajarito…” I hope the man sues you for slander one of these days.
Regardless if Tim supports Measure D or not, he still needs to be elected to the Santa Ana City Council. Tim is a fine individual and should be in a political position to not only clean up this town, but could use the seat as a way to go after Pedroza and discredit him once and for all.
Although, I don’t advocate abusing a political office to go after someone however, I believe Tim would do with the utmost respect for the office and very ethically. Tim is the most ethical person I know and he will make a fine city councilman compared to Sarmiento.
