The vision is to annually bring every aspect of the Fullerton community resources (business, community agencies & organizations, religious organizations, neighborhoods, cultural groups, and individual citizens) together in the heart of Fullerton for a day of honoring, celebrating, sharing, and recognizing the richness that makes Fullerton a great place to live and work.

This was a great event, Gary and I went today (OOOOOOOH, it’s hot out!) and enjoyed visiting the booths and talking to people about the work they are doing. My favorite was the YWCA, Diane, the executive director was wonderful and they are doing such great work by offering free mammograms and outreach to women of different cultures to encourage them to care for their health.
I also enjoyed talking to Yazmin from Orange County Social Services Agency regarding foster care and adoption. Interesting conversation to say the least and very informative!
I would have posted about this myself if I’d found out about before this morning!
There is something, though, up there around the same time, that I should warn you about, you probably want to avoid. It’s called Feces of Fullerton, and it’s out in the lot back behind Steamers Cafe, near Commonwealth and Harbor. Just avoid it, trust me.
