What does it take to track down a Vice Presidential candidate – and get an exclusive interview? A lot of effort! Our unstoppable blogger, “El Luchador” heard that the Libertarian Party Vice Presidential candidate, Wayne Allyn Root, was going to be in Rancho Cucamonga – and after many emails and phone calls the interview was set.
The Orange Juice blog was well represented this Sunday, as the California Libertarian Party welcomed Root to the home of a supporter in Rancho Cucamonga. Sarah Spinosa shot the video above – El Luchador conducted the interview, yours truly was the driver and our newest blogger, the “Green Queen” was there for moral support.
This video is part one of a three part series. We will post part two of this exclusive Orange Juice interview tomorrow.
If you have not had the chance to hear Root address the hottest issues, including immigration, education and protecting our Constitution, you are in for a treat! I have been in politics for over fifteen years and I have never met a candidate as candid or as impressive as Root.
You can find out more about Root’s campaign at this link. Here are the links to the rest of our posts about the Libertarian Party:

- Is this the year for the Libertarian Party?
- Are we ready to vote Libertarian? Wayne Root thinks so!

i like this guy . i like his views . i am waiting to hear his stand on immigration . wayne for all of you that like to gamble a little bit on football was a handicaper on the jim feist show from vegas years ago . i liked his thinking back then . knows his stuff . what he said about these republicans is true . i dont belive in most of the democrats and their views . hopefully someday mr roots thinking will pay off .
Excellent interview guys. I can’t wait to meet Mr. Root a few weeks from now.
I found this interview interesting and I wish Mr. Root much success. Our country can use as many ideas as possible right now.
Couple of things: I think Mr. Root should tone down the poker playing oppression route a bit.
Also, I just don’t like or trust Bob Barr. I also don’t trust all the fleeing Republicans that ran to the Independent party, either ( I am thinking about Scotty McClellen’s mommy from TX bailing out as a Republican over to the Independent party tent).
Excellent video interview. I am looking forward to the next installment.
