Will GOP elect a black chairman, as counter to President Obama?

What is left of the Republican Party is currently going through the process of hiring a new party chairman, and “Among the six candidates are four white men, including two from the South, and two African Americans: Michael Steele, the former lieutenant governor of Maryland, and Kenneth Blackwell, the former Ohio secretary of state,” according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

Will the GOP elect its first black chairman?

My guess is that they will go with a white man once more, but it may not make a difference.  Blackwell is a full on Talibani Republican.  Steele is likely more moderate, as he is from a liberal state.
