“An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing and shooting death of his girlfriend’s mother, who was found inside her home in the Morrison Park neighborhood last year. Her 16-year-old daughter was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder, police said,” according to the O.C. Register.
Remember this case? The Usual Suspects were quick to blame the Mexicans – but lookie there, it appears that this was an inside job.
Will the Usual Suspects ever stop blaming Mexicans for all the ills in Santa Ana?
Obviously the young people arrested in this case are presumed innocent until found guilty, but you have to wonder what would lead to such a heinous crime.
The young man arrested is named Brian Paul Landry, 18, of Cypress. “He was arrested on suspicion of murder. Saddler’s 16-year-old daughter, who is not being identified because she is a minor, was arrested in Cypress on suspicion of conspiring to kill her mother,” according to the O.C. Register.
Interestingly, many anonymous commenters, over at the O.C. Register are saying that Landry is a good guy. I guess we’ll see about that as this case unfolds.
