Oh my. Levi Johnston, the young man who impregnated former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s oldest daughter, appears in the video above saying that he thinks Palin quit over money and that she isn’t cut out to be President.
Well, say what you will about Levi, but he is right about that! Palin is done.
Art, I agree with you. Palin is done. She’s got no chance in next presidential election. The media will just kill her before she starts her campaign. I wonder though, why shall we care about the opinion of a dropout kid, who has done nothing special in life. I guess dating Palin’s daughter was something special. But, besides that, I don’t think he’s got anything. So, why even care about him?
#1,
Levi appears to be a loser, as such it is heavenly irony for him to be the guy to finger Palin.
We can all wave adios to the Palinator now…
Where can I get some Palin yard signs??
post 1 agree who cares what this guy thinks who is he anyway but art blows him up to be someone who is really special ..
#4,
Note that the video is a production of the Associated Press. Guess I am not the only one giving this kid credence?
So do you agree that Palin is done?
Why would anyone believe anything this irresponsbile young man has to say? A performance in the back seat does not make him an expert on much of anything. He needs to work on getting a life. And, Art, if you view the Associated Press as a source of some kind of valiadation or authority, you need to understand that such media is often a conduit of passing along irresponsible comments of people – when a source is shown or quoted they take no ownership of the accuracy of that source, just that they have relayed the information as they heard it.
#6,
Did you watch the video? There were a slew of reporters there covering what Levi had to say. It was not just the AP.
This kid was embedded, literally, in the Palin family for some time. If anyone knows what sort of hijinks they are up to it is him.
#6,
BTW, Salon Magazine has a great article up about going after the guys who drafted Palin onto the McCain ticket:
http://www.salon.com/opinion/conason/2009/07/10/palin/index.html
art i agree with been around a while WHO CARES . IT COULD BE JOE BLOW SAID PALIN THIS , PALIN THAT , it depends on who is saying what . your trying to make this into a giant issue . wich its not .
Palin Family + Levi = white trash
You can dress them up to look classy, but they still are…trash…time to take it out to the dumps.
The point here is that Levi while living in the Palin household heard conversation about Governor Palin stepping down as goveror because other opportunities where present to make money.
This is relevant because she and her supporters have said she stepped down because she wants to do the peoples work, save the public money in defending accusations amongst other explanations.
Levi gives the real expalnation. MONEY. In reality Gov. Palin is more interested in opportunities at money than governing.
This is not about Levi. It is about coversations he heard from Gov. Palin which contradict her and her supporter’s political spin.
Why would the GOP tap a politician like this for Vice President this past election and President in 20012?
Why is she still relevant politically?
My, My, aren’t some of us a bit harsh about the father of Sarah Palin’s grandson?
I mean, nothing is so precious and hands-off untouchable as a PARENT of the child belonging to the family of Alaskan royalty, is there?
Dropout? Loser? I think all Levi has to do is get himself a ghost writer, FIRST, before Sarah has a chance to churn out her book…. and publish a book himself. That’s gotta be worth a couple of million dollars. And I think that is exactly what the press conference was all about.
If he can generate some interest in his insider insights….. then he’s gonna be one lucky, wealthy duck! Especially if he can beat old sarah to the publishing line!
Art, just read you retort post no. 7. Your use of the word “embedded” is realy funny, an artful touch! Indeed he was, apparently too much! Funny. Very good! As for AP, I only mentioned them as in your response post No. 5 you mentioned them (only). In my view, all the ghoulish, sensationalistic media are alike when it comes to reporting things people say about others. We all know we cannot fully believe what the media reports as though it was accurate and complete and to use a media source – in this case the producer of the video – as some kind of authentication or endorsement is reading a lot more into the AP video publication then is there.
For instance, if I say you are a nice guy, and the media quotes me, that does not mean the media believes you are a nice guy. Anyhow, real cowboys wear Wranglers, not Levi’s.
