South Orange County NRA Member’s Council
Is pleased to present
Chuck Michel
As our special speaker
On Tuesday September 1, at 6:30 pm
Mr. Michel will be speaking on
NRA Activities in California
Mr. Michel is the chief attorney for the National Rifle Association and the California Rifle and Pistol Association (CRPA) in California. He submitted an amicus brief on behalf of the NRA and CRPA in the Heller vs DC case. Earlier this year he was the lead attorney in the NRA/CRPA backed case against the San Francisco public housing authority challenging a ban on firearms. The city lost the case and had to restore residents’ civil rights. He has appeared in many firearms related interviews, written articles and editorials on behalf of gun rights, and teaches at Chapman University School of Law. He has been a great contributor to several recent NRA and CRPA victories. We are honored to have Mr. Michel as our guest.
