There was a time when Van was not so bad. But the power went to his head – and he got greedy.
Pham is nothing like him. I have known them both for well over 12 years. Pham is a very honorable man. He cares a lot about his community and really wants to make a difference. As long as I have known him, he has not changed.
Go to his website and contact him. Pham will call you and would be happy to meet with you. I think you will find him to be sincere and intelligent.

Art, I absolutely agree with you on this 100%. Let me also add this: Van Tran believes in “strength in numbers”, so when he came in office, he quickly gathered people around him to build a big powerful dominating team. The problem with “strength in numbers” is that you better make sure you have good quality people around you; which Tran did/does not. He trusted Janet, big mistake. Trung Nguyen, poor choice. Any Quach, dumb move… and god, he even support that low life homeless mentally ill moron, Ky Ngo.
You guys may laugh at me for this but I put a lot of hope on Truong Diep. One simple reason is that he’s still very young, with room to grow and time to learn from his mistakes. The guy is eloquent and sure can write. He’s ambitious, so I don’t blame him for hanging with the Trannies. If I were in my early twenties, I would be honored to have the support of Van Tran too. The question for Diep is where he goes from here… We’ll see in 5 years or so. You watch, this guy has wings of his own. I can see it in his eyes.
Art, I just checked out Quang Pham’s website. I’m impressed!!!! As a Vietnamese American, Quang seems to be someone I’d be proud to support and have representing my community. Of course, I said the same about Tran many years ago too.
I will keep a closer eye on Quang from now on. I would love to have a chat with the guy.

Tyler Truong Diep is NOT who you think he is. If you think Janet is back stabber, then you need to think twice about this thug Tyler and if you think Van Tran let the power get to his head, you really need to take good look at TYLER TRUONG DIEP. He’s an attack dog for hire, he will go after you and family members and he will make it personal!!! He’s DARK!!! I volunteered for Dina Nguyen’s campaign when she was running for Supervisor against Janet, at first I didn’t know so i got involved, but after a few meetings with the Trannies, they are more like a CULT. They begin their meeting by prasing each other, they check out the newspapers to see if they find themselves there, if not they call their writer and asked you to put some bullshit story together to keep their names in the news, next on their agenda,trash talk about all the people that don’t help them financially, then, they discuss how to attack or humiliate those that they think are against them. Their policy is, better safe then sorry. Tyler, is the worst of them all. He holds grudges and he makes it personal. He’s as dishonest as it comes. He’s malicious and disgustingly greedy, he’s already corrupted. Start doing some digging and you will know what i mean.
C. Vo, you put great passion in what you wrote, so you seem to know what you’re talking about. You’ve convinced me. I knew the “Trannies” is a cult but I had hope for the younger ones. I guess I have to wait for other talents to come.
By the way, I also know someone who’s worked for the Trannie group. He too was disappointed and disgusted at the way these guys acted.
TRI TA is a very humble man. I’ve been following his movements since he been in office. He’s very independent from VT’s group. I had some opportunities to meet him in person a couple times and found out he’s indeed a good man compared to some of his “friends”.
LAN Q. NGUYEN is also a good man. He will be a good Secretary of Education.
As for Janet Nguyen and Andrew Do. These two are nasty elected officials. I have to admit Andrew Do is a smart man, but he’s not independent. He likes to be around Janet to hold her sandles and shirt. Oh wait…. Janet doesn’t have the body figure to wear Shirt.

Definitely he makes for a good soldier, but that’s about it. A proud man…maybe too proud. A patriotic man…maybe too patriotic. He over simplies what he says. Definitely not a deep thinker. I am unimpressed.
Rather than idolize those who seek politiacl power, we should learn from history that all have ulterior motives and unexpressed personal goals which have nothing to contribute to the welfare of the community.
Strong, moral people like Calvin Le and Thomas Dao, who have contributed to the community and helped so very many to achieve better lives – these are the kinds of men who can lead.
I don’t know anything about Long Pham but will check him out. But the Trannies, Quach, Diep, and TRI TA all hang out together. When you meet with Tri Ta remember he too has another side. I met with him recently and he seemed so humble and kind, only to severely disappoint me when an issue we discussed came up at a council meeting and he did not even tell me it was going to come up and I had talked with him just that day. I have been told that he has a dark side too, and has fallen in with the Van Tran camp, and employs the use of many of their techniques himself.
