Just look for the union label

The ACORN scandal has rocked the lid off of corruption, scandal and hypocrisy by a so-called “community activist” front. A radical marxist front that has been doing nothing but shepherding big union special interests through government and radical secular theology, funded by taxpayers, into neighborhoods across America. These so called “community organizations” have been nothing more than a shell game for social progressives and their anti-american zeal to undo every founding principle of American life, until “everybody else does it!” actually starts to sound like a rational starting point for action.

The fact of the matter is, social progressives have hidden under the banner of speaking for the poor and minorities, while draining public dollars and then turning around and using those dollars in elections across the country to spread their divisive, radical anti-wealth, anti-development, anti-human agenda. They have a web of radical Marxist organizations funded by men like billionaire George Soros that fronted as lawyers groups, a political party and voices of the middle class. They are all about freedom of speech and organization, but get active right back and their thugs will put you in the hospital.

But you can’t see the picture until you get a bit of history…

The Tides Foundation was founded in 1976, and began such notable organizations as the National Lawyers Guild, a Communist Front group, and has had such notable speakers as Lynne Stwwart, defender of the 1993 World Trade Center bombers. George Soros has given nearly $7 million to Tides, but its primary funding is federal grants. Thats right, federal grants.

Wade Rathke is a Board Member of The Tides Foundation.

The Tides Foundation has 16 Directors, one of who is Drummond Pike. Pike is a part of the Democracy Alliance, founded by George Soros. Recipients of Democracy Alliance grants are sworn to secrecy about the funds they receive from this organization, thus only a small percentage of its grantees are known to the public. One of those is ACORN. Pike also funneled nearly $1 million to ACORN through Citizens Consulting, Inc, later a focus of Congressional Hearings for RICO and electoral fraud during Obamas election.

On March 19, 2009, Ms. Heidelbaugh testified on Capitol Hill to members of the House Judiciary sub-committee about the complaint and her concerns regarding ACORN, as well as concerns relating to a potential cover-up by some of the media.

Ms. Heidelbaugh testified that she’d worked with an informant/witness by the name of Ms. Anita Moncrief ,who apparently came forward with pertinent information related to the Obama Presidential campaign and its practices, primarily through its connections to ACORN and some of its subsidiaries.

Ms. Heidelbaugh’s testimony included the following:

“…she [Ms. Moncrief] informed me that she had been a confidential informant for several months to the New York Times Reporter, Stephanie Strom, who had been writing articles about ACORN based on the information that she had provided. The New York Times articles stopped when Ms. Moncrief, who is a Democrat and a supporter of the President, revealed that the Obama Presidential Campaign had sent its maxed out donor list to Karen Gillette of the Washington, DC ACORN office and asked Gillette and Ms. Moncrief to reach out to the maxed out donors and solicit donations from them for Get Out the Vote efforts to be run by ACORN. Upon learning this information and receiving the list of donors from the Obama Campaign, Ms. Strom reported to Ms. Moncrief that her editors at the New York Times wanted her to kill the story because, and I quote, “it was a game changer”.

Wade Rathke is also Founder and Chief Organizer of ACORN.

Now, maybe that isn’t all particulary interesting, until you also learn that Wade Rathke is also Founder and Chief Organizer of Local 100 Service Employees Intl Union. And where is Local 100 located? New Orleans. Particularly…

Now, if I’ve completely confused you, I have to admit, I am still a bit confused myself. The web of lying, deception, election fraud and Chicago thug politics is a bit daunting to view in all its glory.  Just stay with it a bit longer…

In the mid 1990s, ACORN and the SEIU partnered with other leftist groups to help form the Marxist New Party, a political coalition. In 1995, Obama sought out their nomination. He was successful in obtaining that endorsement and used a number of New Party volunteers as campaign workers.

While the future president was making his way up the ladder of Chicago politics, his New Party partners, ACORN and the SEIU, were learning the “intimidation” business. The groups partnered to shake down corporations in the “muscle for money” program:

It’s officially called the “Muscle for Money” program within the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) where it was started, and unofficially by the same name among activists of Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now (ACORN). … Muscle for Money includes multiple techniques for creating highly aggressive, organized efforts both to pressure businesses and officials to support the activists’ agenda or to discredit and intimidate opponents of their agenda, according to present and former ACORN members.

Obama built upon that tradition when, on January 30, he issued three new executive orders.

1. The first required federal service contractors to offer jobs to current workers when contracts change.

This means, unions don’t have to hire anybody new.

2. Federal contractors no longer have to post notice that workers can limit financial support of unions serving as their exclusive bargaining representatives.

Need explanation of that?

3. Federal contractors are no longer reimbursed for expenses meant to influence workers deciding whether to form a union and engage in collective bargaining.

I guess too many were deciding against being coerced into a union.

So we have mapped a bit of the Tides – ACORN – SEIU – Obama organism from root to flower.  Now we come to health care.

On May 12, 2009, Dennis Rivera, the coordinator for the health care campaign for SEIU, gathered leaders of the health care industry for a meeting with Barack Obama. Now, Republicans did this with Big Oil and I recall there were cries of “corruption!” and “foul!” and “who gets paid?”

Well, when the government takes a much greater role in health care, obviously, the role of unions will also grow. Obviously, the revenue that they enjoy will increase. Obviously, the scope of power that they have will also increase. Then you’ve got the “employee forced choice act,” essentially unionizing the small business community, you know, in spite of whether the workers want to be part of the union or not. It’s about power. It’s about money.
