“About 1,000 people who gathered at Cook Park in San Juan Capistrano on Saturday afternoon expressed their outrage at government spending,” according to the O.C. Register.
This was one of two Tea Parties held locally. The other one was located in Los Angeles.
The Pitchfork and Torch Blog posted about this after the fact and provided numerous pictures, some of which we are providing below:
Cutting government spending on schools should work best as it will lower taxes and enourage parents to send their kids to private schools thereby stimulating educational entrepeneurs.
I heard it was a billion protesters that showed up in SJC 😉
wow all those stupid people, who take the time to fight for their country!.
And all the union workers and the rich, putting them down for it!.
Who would you trust the worker, or the paid by the worker??
and the RICH!! (CEO”S,NON-PROFITS,FOUNDATIONS..ect) I THINK NOT!.
It does not matter if it was 5 people or one thousand, they showed up and that is what counts!.
It was close to a billion, but a lot of them got distracted by the “Bad to the Bone Barbecue” only a few doors down, so they didn’t make it
There was closer to 2500 people there according to Sheriff Department estimates of Deputies on site. Typical downplay by certain Register reporters who wouldn’t know the truth if it hit them between the eyes.
Yeah. 2500 people getting together carrying American flags and expressing their First Amendment rights. What a shame.
Thank God for the internet.
