Finally, Military personnel will be able to live their lives and serve their country without having to tell lies about who they are. The President gives his word that lawmakers and the military are already working on removing the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” ban on homosexuals serving openly in the military.

Too many good military men and women have had their careers derailed by the DADT. This decision cannot wait a moment longer than necessary, imo. I think the president made a very compelling case in the videos, if you care to watch them.
