Candidates Sought to Fill Retirement Board Vacancy
(Santa Ana, CA) — Board of Supervisors Chair Patricia C. Bates is seeking candidates to fill a vacancy on the Board of Retirement of the Orange County Employees Retirement System (OCERS).
The vacancy, created by the resignation of an OCERS Board member, is for a term that expires December 31, 2009. The candidate selected may be reappointed to a full three year term on the OCERS Board.
“I encourage interested Orange County residents to send a letter of interest to my office stating their credentials for the position,” said Chair Bates. “The OCERS Board of Retirement is an extremely important group to the County of Orange, its employees and the taxpayers. The Board of Supervisors is seeking highly qualified candidates for our consideration in filling this vacancy.”
