O.C. Democrats are hoping you would pay to see Nancy Pelosi speak

“The DPOC is charging folks $150 to see me?”

U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has horrible approval ratings, but the Democratic Party of Orange County hopes you will pay to see her speak.  She is their keynote speaker for their upcoming Harry S. Truman Awards Dinner, which is coming up on Friday, December 4, from   6:00 PM – 9:00 PM at the Hilton Irvine/Orange County Airport, located at 18800 MacArthur Blvd., in Irvine.

Tickets range from $150 for General Admission to the DPOC Partners rate of $500 per couple or  DPOC Friends at $250 per person.

This will be Melahat’s last hurrah.  She has announced that she is leaving the DPOC in order to focus on running Beth Krom’s congressional campaign.
