Time has flown. It is almost time for another census.
We had this event at Friendship Baptist Church in Yorba Linda in 2010. Just one week ago the pastor, Pastor Carrington passed away.
What will we be doing 10 years from now — will we be here or there. Would we have made a difference?
God bless the soul of Rev. Carrington and May he rest in perfect Peace. And condolences to all the family and friends.
That’s very sad, Patricia. I’ve heard many good things about him. If you or others would like to write a memorial to him, we would be happy to publish it here.
We’ve also certainly like to highlight whatever event — or ideally many events — of this kind will be scheduled in the lead-up to the 2020 Census. Hopefully the immigration question designed to keep Latino (and to some extent all other) immigrants from completing the census will have been stricken by the courts.
