Blog reader Pam Keller sent FFFF an email yesterday to alert us of a blatant abuse of County resources to promote a political message against Tea Party activists.
In a video that is presented on the official Orange County government website, children are shown lecturing adults on the dangers of free speech as images of Tea Party activists flash across the screen. If you don’t believe us, see for yourself:

I bet they are aganist the Tea Party Movement; they are threatened by it and they should be. OC Health care industry,social services and non-profits are completely dependent on massive amounts of: federal, state and local taxes. I was not able to get the amounts that Choc Health Alliance recieves from caloptima enrollees, but at 1billion a year, i would say it is alot. Social Services just recieved a hugh grant both State and federal, because of supposed increased enrollment. The poor, underserved and needy in Orange County are not so underserved. Orange County just loves the poor, no matter who they are.
Yesterday i found a article from the early 1090’s, when a group of black leaders called the 21 project used Orange County as a model for welfare abuse.
Caloptima is one of the largest entitlement Organizations in the country. Caloptima coughs up massive amounts of money to CHOC Health alliance and other organizations. I believe that Caloptima was created to make it easier to spend the money without public scrutiny. Caloptima contracts out to private non-profits who are cover by the 1986 public records act, which protects them from giving out financial information.
The county also contracts out to Providence Community Services, a business in the business of getting so called needy people on the books; lots of enrollees means lots of tax dollars. Orange County just got a federal grant because of the supposed need to encrease it welfare rolls; which enturn allows the County to hire back all the public servants that were let go.
The question is who benifits from this: commissioners,execs, politicans,academics
insurance companies, non-profit hospitals,non-profits and public employees.
It is racketeering of public money!

Tea party is a joke, can’t we all just admit that? It is an equivalent to Congress changing the name of French Fries into Freedom Fries. Just stupid!!
I thought that was an excellent video!!! Thanks for posting. Jerry Springer is a truly sad reflection of our society. I think our society should be a place where people can have differing opinions and yet still be civil and respectful to each other. I look up to people that go the extra distance to understand the issues at hand from different points of view. It may not be as easy as living the life of a ideologue but it makes America much stronger in the end.
