Red Cross, NBC4 to Host Fundraiser at Angel Stadium on Sunday

SANTA ANA, Calif. – The American Red Cross of Orange County invites everyone to stop by Angel Stadium on Sunday, Jan. 17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. as part of NBC4’s “Hope for Haiti” campaign. Red Cross volunteers, including members from local high school clubs, will be on hand to collect donations as vehicles pull up.

“This is one of the easiest ways for people to donate to an incredibly worthy cause,” said Stanley Perdue, chief executive officer of the American Red Cross of Orange County. “The needs created by this disaster have only been exceeded by the generous spirit of our community.”
Donations can be made in the form of cash or checks. Checks should be made payable to the American Red Cross/Haiti Relief. Donations can also be made online to the American Red Cross International Response Fund at www.oc-redcross.org or by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS.
Help people affected by disasters by donating to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. On those rare occasions when donations exceed Red Cross expenses for a specific disaster, contributions are used to prepare for and serve victims of other disasters. Your gift enables the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to victims of all disasters. Call (714) 481-5300 or 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
