Ruh roh! RNC Chairman Michael Steele is coming to Southern California, this Saturday, Jan. 23.
Steele has been a total disaster as RNC Chairman, but he is probably taking all the credit for the GOP victories the last few months, in blue states on the East Coast. We all know of course that the credit for those victories lies with President Obama, Senator Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Last night in Massachusetts, thousands of supporters greeted Republican Scott Brown as the triumphant candidate in an election that has rocked the very foundation of American politics. California Republican Party Chairman Ron Nehring said it best yesterday—“Barbara Boxer can’t be too happy with today’s results. If Massachusetts can elect a Republican to the United States Senate in 2010, so can California.”
Our party is back. Our momentum is building. We’re learning from victories by Brown and McDonnell and Christie while the Democrats are busy blaming everyone but themselves for what’s happened in Massachusetts and Virginia and New Jersey.
