Will Tom Daly show up to the 4th Supervisorial District this Monday? All of the candidates to replace Chris Norby are supposed to be there. But rumor has had it for some time that Daly is going to pull out and run for reelection as O.C. Clerk-Recorder.
The debate is hosted by something called NUFF – Neighbors United for Fullerton. It will be held at the Fullerton Public Library located at 353 West Commonwealth, at 6:45 pm. The event is free to the public.
Jennifer Muir, of the O.C. Register, is going to moderate the debate, which features two Anaheim carpetbaggers in Harry Sidhu and Lorri Galloway, and one legitimate Republican conservative, Fullerton Councilman Shawn Nelson. The only honorable Democrat in the race is La Habra Councilwoman Rose Espinoza. Other Democrats inlude the aforementioned carpetbagger Galloway, plus Daly, who is a career politician.
Nelson has already been endorsed by Norby. His victory appears to be fait accompli.
So will Daly show on Monday? Don’t hold your breath…
Mr. Admin,
You might want to do some background research on Mr. Nelson or look at polling numbers before proclaiming Criminal Defense Attorney Nelson’s election as “fait accompli”.
Looks okay to me. Especially when the opposition has carpetbagger or career politician stuck to it.
Hey, Fullerton folks: What exactly has Shawn Nelson done that makes him such a darling of ustedes? All I know him for is threatening to whitewash historic Chicano murals and speaking before JohnKen’s Head on a Stick rally near the train depot. Other than that, I know nothing…
Gustavo,
I never heard about that mural story. Shawn has a law practice in Santa Ana. He doesn’t have racist tendencies at all, as far as I can tell.
He is known for standing up to the RINO’s on the Fullerton City Council when they secretly tried to pad their public employee’s pensions in secret. He was able to stop that ridiculous effort.
He is a fiscal conservative – perhaps the only one running for the 4th district.
