P.I. Bill Hunt is now endorsed by Latino bashers Joe Arpaio, Barbara Coe, Jim Gilchrist and the Association of O.C. Deputy Sheriffs
The Orange County Deputy Sheriff’s Association has announced their endorsement in the race for Orange County Sheriff. They decided to endorse Bill Hunt, the former O.C. Deputy Sheriff, who is now a private investigator. Hunt was fired by disgraced former Sheriff Mike Carona.
The runner-up was appointed Sheriff Sandra Hutchens.
Since OC GOP Chairman Scott Baugh announced that his party would not support union-backed candidates, this probably doesn’t help Hunt much with Republican voters.

Endorsement Comes After Vote Of The Association’s General Membership
SANTA ANA – The Association of Orange County Deputy Sheriffs (AOCDS) announced today that they have chosen to endorse retired Lt. Bill Hunt for election this June as Orange County Sheriff-Coroner. The decision came after a vote this week of their general
membership.
“After serving in the United States Army after high school, Bill Hunt rose through the ranks of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, serving over 21 years within the department’s divisions including jails, patrol, investigations, training, narcotics, gangs, SWAT, and management,” said AOCDS PAC Chairman Thomas Dominguez. “We believe he is strongly qualified and our membership supports his campaign.”
The Association, which represents over 1,800 fully sworn deputies, investigators, and sergeants of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department and the District Attorney’s Bureau of Investigations, conducted a vote of its membership at the conclusion of a Sheriff-Coroner candidates forum they hosted last Thursday, March 18. Voting continued up through last evening at 5:00 P.M. The final results were:
Retired Lt. Bill Hunt 50.24%
Sheriff Sandra Hutchens 26.70%
Deputy Chief Craig Hunter 12.02%
No Endorsement 11.04%
“A video tape of the recent candidates’ forum was posted on the AOCDS Web Site for our membership to view,” said Dominguez. “We wanted to make sure they were as informed as possible about the views of the three candidates before they made their decision
regarding an endorsement.”

Wasn’t Bill Hunt, PI the one who stood up at a OCGOP Central Committee meeting and agreed to the “No Union Support” pledge and then later back-peddled and claimed he didn’t really mean it? There is integrity for you!! Now we know why he didn’t really mean it. His campaign is running out of money and he is desperate.
Who wants another Sheriff that says one thing and does the opposite when his original pledge becomes inconvenient to stick to??

I can not stand people trying to take advantage of the system. I don’t like the fact that thousands of hispanic kids are dropping out of school and most likely will end up on welfare or get into crime. I think it is sad that the government has become the father in the hispanic community, I can not stand Mexican Activists who shout and rant about the fact the Americans ( other immigrants) owe the hispanic community anything and really in the end have did more damage to all immigrants as a whole, because of their lack of respect for the American people and their great willingness to embrace all immigrants…

Art my dear friend. How does that detract from the fact that unbiased jury of 12 called out Hunter as a liar and believed Nolan? After all the jury system is the only real way to root out the truth. It’s so reliable in fact they can lock somebody up for life or worse based on a jury’s findings. Except maybe for OJ but he got his in the end 🙂

1) Sheriff Joe Arpaio – under investigation by FBI:
1A) under investigation and ignoring high number of felons in his jurisdiction.

It doesn’t matter who the union endorses. It means Hunt will get a few extra bucks to run commericals and so forth. A few years back Sheirff Baca only had 10% of the LA sheriff union vote. He won overwhelmeingly in the election. The messgae is clear, The union doesn’t hold the majority of the vote, the citizens, who will without a dobut overwhelmingly re-elect Hutchens again.
Hunt only talked bad about carona, when carona told him he was not in the car anymore. Hunt will forever good or bad be tied to Carona. The OC union should vote out their president, the union should of remained neutral. Hutches will win and the union will pay for it.
And those whos ay Hunt worked this and that, people he was a Lieutenant, a watch commander at best. Chief of police servies is over exaggerated. His swat, exp is in Orange County and in very affluent cities to bat. There is not police agency in Orange County that calls the Sheriff for anything. So that means, Hunt raided homes in Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel and so forth. Which ultimately means he has done nothing.
One Anaheim ranking official laughed when asked if they call the sheriff. He said the Sheriff dont have any experience to help us.
