Scott Brown gave the GOP address today, and had plenty to say about the Chicago thug tactics of our teleprompter in chief. Despite the fact that health care by Democrats loses in every poll, they are still attempting to pass the beast by every hook or crook. This is because, as I have pointed out, the “Yellow Brick Road to Nowhere” can’t really be sold as a solid “good”. It has now become something the political class sees fit to try and pass for its own benefit. In the case of the Democrats, its for the benefit of their own interests, i.e. the Unions, the Trial Lawyers, and the government workers. They still manage to talk about controlling spending on health care reform as if that’s the same thing as controlling costs. It is not.
While listening to the Senator with 70% approval, remember that leftists are living in another world and that unless they start listening to their own pollsters, they are in for a rude awakening this Fall.
The people want the McCain plan whereby employer contributions are taxed as income so we don’t have to keep providing government regulated and subsidized health insurance to big corporation employees. Also, let’s do something for our veterans who are forced to use government doctors and hospitals.
VA Care is as good or better than private care. I got a change to compare both while in Ohio taking care of my parents.
Would I rather deal with private insurance or the VA? Having experience with both, the VA in my experience is more responsive and provides better care than most private plans, I would sign up tomorrow if i could.
BTW – Veterans are not forced to use the VA; they can buy private insurance or pay for service just like the rest of us. Unless of course they happen to be poor or have a pre-existing condition, then at least they can get care.
Scott had time to do this in between all his tagging along after McCain? Cool.
I hope you have some kind of health care lined up for when this bill goes through, don’t really want you to get an aneurism or something…
