Climate of Fear Part 3: Homegrown Terror

Now that we have learned that the Times Square Bomber is not a white male and the Left is done pontificating about white male politics and trying to imbue the public with white male scare, they just don’t seem to know what to make of the Pakistani-born man who actually turned out to be the owner of the “suspect” SUV. Law enforcement has no motive. The family has no clue. Federal officials can’t give a motive. International Press won’t pontificate. But the Government run media isn’t completely out of ideas. They’re currently working up the story that the Pakistani born confessed bomber parked a minivan full of fertilizer in front of Viacom because his house was being foreclosed on. Common sense would say they would be afraid the bombing could be tied to Barney Frank and Chris Dodd. They are so used to blaming every problem and failure of the Obama regime on Bush, they wouldn’t even see it.  But the media had no problem raising and querying about motivations when they thought the suspect was a white male, did they?

“If I had to guess 25 cents, this would be exactly that. Homegrown, or maybe a mentally deranged person, or somebody with a political agenda that doesn’t like the health care bill or something. It could be anything,” Mayor Bloomberg said.

Now, in case you think I’m exaggerating, news that a “white man” was linked to the Times Square bomb hit the presses and was circulated about the globe. Headline in the Himalayan Times: White man linked to Times Square car bomb. This is the same kind of politically correct Heavy Breathing that middle America has to sit through every time there is a major scare in this country. Why, we can’t possibly surmise what agenda this legalized citizen from another country and another culture was pursuing. That would be racist and profiling. But if it’s a white male, why “we know exactly what he was angry about. Those Tea Party people were angry at health care.”

What happened when the DC sniper terrorized a three state area for months? During the sniper hunt, Police Chief Charles Moose refused to give out a sketch or even a profile of the sniper suspect, which would have helped the public look out for suspects. Chief Moose didn’t want to “paint some group.” Meanwhile, white men were detained for questioning or put under surveillance. And the ATF and the FBI went along with profiling white men for the crime, despite that several witnesses at the Virgina Home Depot described “dark skinned” suspects leaving the scene. Turns out the snipers were a Muslim convert and an illegal Jamaican.

“Anybody can put on makeup to look ethnic.” Police Officer Derek Baliles said. “We didn’t want anyone to give up on the fact that it could be a white guy.” Chief Moose explained.

How about when Major Hasan spent 100 bullets and murdered 13 people in Ft Hood? Why, it was Pre-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Not Stress Disorder. Pre-Stress Disorder. As in, he hadn’t seen battle yet. As Chris Matthews said, “it is unclear if religion is even a factor”. According to Jerry Rivers, “He could have had a toothache and gone off.”

Far more damaging to America than the previously mentioned acts of evil is the pychological pretzel of self hatred and self doubt American society engages in for fear of being called racist, bigoted or Islamophobic. These are the people who want to make you scared of anyone who believes bigger government creates smaller individuals. Americans who can’t or won’t admit that these acts all had the characteristics of terrorist acts and we knew who to look for right from the beginning, are people who are willing to lie to themselves. And people who are willing to lie to themselves are also willing to lie to others to cover for their fear and shame.

These are the Americans being transformed amongst us. Americans unwilling to admit that we are facing an enemy that has a name. Far easier to blame the constant enemy, the society that keeps them down, prevents them from reaching their dreams, the enemy that they constantly rely on to blame for their failures and inadequacies. These are the people fomenting terror right in your neighborhood. They want to make you scared when a suspicious figure is lurking around. Not because you notice anything shady, but because you might have noticed them for the color of their skin. Far easier to accede to every intimidation in the face of some unknowable racial component than stand up for freedom.

That’s why when a bunch of left wing radicals set out to celebrate International Workers Day and commemorate the crowning achievements of Communism in Santa Cruz, and they end up torching bourgeouis businesses and bashing in capitalist storefronts, nobody remarks about how left wing get togethers usually end up in violence. There might be a few kids of color in the crowd.

That’s why when white American students wanted to celebrate Cinco de Mayo for America in the Bay Area, they were sent home for insensitivity. Nothing but racial profiling. The bigot Assistant Principal Miguel Rodriguez didn’t like the fact that some white students were celebrating Cinco de Mayo in their own and thought he could lay a little racial profiling down on them. But its was white kids and an American flag, so there’s no reason to be alarmed. Right?

Instead, they are actively removing all references to Islamic Extremism from National Security documents. In a move Sen Joe Lieberman called “absolutely Orwellian and counterproductive.” the Obama regime has removed all references to Islamic extremism in its intelligence reports of incidents like Ft Hood and will likely be doing so in the case of the Times Square bomber. Lieberman wrote:

“The failure to identify our enemy for what it is, violent Islamist extremism, is offensive and contradicts thousands of years of accepted military and intelligence doctrine to know your enemy.”

But hey, to the Left he’s just a Jew, right? No reason to listen to him. He has no idea what living under terror is. No wonder the government is looking for Tea Parties and white faces. How can you know what to fight if you don’t even admit Islamic Terror exists?
