In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, baby! Iron Butterfly front man to entertain at Bill Hedrick’s 58th birthday bash/fundraiser.

Iron Butterfly's Martin Gerschwitz will rock the house for Bill.

So, get this down on your calendars: Saturday June 5, 4 to 6 PM, at the San Juan Capistrano home of Coleen and Keston Barker (33542 Valle Road; to RSVP or for more info, call 951-966-9953 or e-mail Kira@hedrickforcongress.com.    You’ll be very close to the lovely coasts of Dana Point and San Clemente, which you can think about while you help elect this tireless defender of our beaches from the offshore-drilling ghouls.

Oh, did I mention that incumbent Congressman Ken Calvert, aside from being regularly named as one of the most corrupt congressmen for his gargantuan appetite for pork-for-personal-profits, recently authored the MORE Act which excoriates Obama for not opening up offshore drilling all along California’s coasts, right up to the beaches – not surprising when he’s raked in $187, 374 from the oil industry.  Yeah, I don’t think I’ve mentioned that last part before, but all you South Countiers need to be reminded of that many times between now and November, as you look out on your beaches and see the recent apocalypse in the Gulf.

'$187,374 will get you whatever legislation you want!'

I’ve just learned of another local Republican politician as well, whose number one priority is opening up unlimited drilling off California’s shores.  I think I’ll wait to name him until we see who’s going to come out of the June 8 primary for 70th AD.

Till then, it’s always a good time to help out Bill, especially when you can meet a part of rock-n-roll history!
