HEY! What happened!?
In case you are wondering, our blog came under the same attack this morning that other blogs all over the world have been suffering this week, including our “friends” at the Liberal OC.
What we found out was that a very bad piece of malware called realsafe-23.net has attached itself to numerous blogs that are hosted on GoDaddy’s servers.
It was a real mess but we solved it by hiring a company called Sucuri Security to clean up our site. They also are going to aggressively monitor our site, all year long, for only 90 bucks.
The Liberal OC should have called Sucuri a long time ago! Sucuri did a great job getting rid of our malware (www1.realsafe-23.net) in less than an hour. Yeah, it was just a perfect storm when I tried to post this morning… wait…
