One would think that the recent catastrophic BP oil spill off the Louisiana coast in the Gulf of Mexico would provide a reality check for the mentally challenged (is that the “politically correct” term?) who want us to approve more oil drilling in our coastal waters.
But, no, they never learn. How much destruction of our plant and animal life and pollution of our oceans will it take for them to come to their senses? Time and time again, it has been shown that oil drilling in coastal waters is an accident waiting to happen. And now, once again, it has happened.
So to those who still proclaim “drill, baby, drill”, I suggest they satiafy their urge by paying a visit to their local dentist!
