Ha ha ha.
Too bad that the union got spanked in Court on Friday on EVERY ONE OF THESE CLAIMS
More false and misleading statements by the union side. Why can’t the union be honest?
A simple one is that the union forgot that Mike Winsten wouldn’t sign off on firing the additional 100+ teachers the union wanted to get rid of in order to save $10 per day in teacher pay.
I wonder why they forgot that little tidbit?
Did you know that the ONLY reason teachers have been let go is because of the union demands to raise pay every year? Did you know that? Well?
The union’s white night and answer to all this is John Alpay. He will protect their jobs. How will he do it? Who knows, as he surely doesn’t have any answers (as evidenced in court last week).
By the way, did I forget to say it? THEY LOST ON THE MERITS for EVERY CLAIM NOTED ABOVE IN A COURT OF LAW.
These guys have no shame.
Hi Greg.
Lies, Lies, Lies
The union didn’t create this video, they didn’t have anything to do with Measure H and didn’t have anything to do with getting the recall on the ballot.
The judge didn’t say anything but that a candidate can put whatever they want in their candidate statement. That’s it…he didn’t say anything else.
Of course the poster “what a crock” is as stupid as a rock because they weren’t in court and if they had been they would have known what was said by the judge and what wasn’t. But the truth and the facts don’t matter to those that purchased a school board that pay back their campaign donors over $655,000 in settlements, who foolishly spent over $2,000,000 on unneeded attorneys, that wasted over $100,000 on worthless attorneys to fight the PARENT led initiative to place the by trustee voting method on the ballot. The Beall propaganda machine is the one that “has no shame”….they have a few hundred thousand dollars of CUSD money that would hvae been better spent in the classroom though
Oh, I missed a gem in the above post.
The claim that the Yes on Measure H is ‘parent led’ is yet ANOTHER one of those FALSE and MISLEADING statements.
The people behind the attempt to get the district to waive our rights to vote on our trustees were: (Drum Roll please)
Erin Kutnick – Failed 2008 Candidate funded and supported by the Union
Duane Stiff – Failed 2008 Candidate and previous Trustee and supported by the Union
And… the two who sit on the county committee
Marlene Draper (remember her? A removed trustee) and
Shela Beneke (again, another failed trustee)
(these two made the motions and second to get the vote before the county committee)
Of course this was parent led.
More False and Misleading statements by the union side.
Yup. I’m dumb as a rock. Maybe a diamond or a ruby or an emerald, but a rock all the same.
So, me as a dumb as a rock poster, must have hit the nail on the head because they surely didn’t challenge any of my post. Except to jump up and down and cry “Lier, Lier Pants on Fire”.
Dare we open up the can of worms on the legal fees?
The union is going to eat this one too, and in a very big way.
Remember after 4 court hearings where tons of facts and hours of testimony were presented, the only one that gets to proudly wear the label of presenting FALSE and MISLEADING statements is the union side.
The rest of us can clearly see through their blather.
But again, I am just a rock, so I must not know anything. 🙂
You are a liar. Stiff had nothing to do with Measure H. Kutnick did but she isn’t a union tool no matter how hard you try to paint that picture. Draper and Benecke didn’t have anything to do with it either you just made that up because your fingers haven’t typed their names enough times this past month!!
Measure H was initiated and qualified for the ballot by Marilyn Amato, Erin Kutnick, and Kevin and Linda Kerwin. All parents, two dems and two repubs. None of them union members. All of them hoping that the trustees might actually keep one of their promises.
Why pass H? To save a million dollars in election costs each decade and to prevent you and your friends from ever buying another school board in South Orange County. How is your portion of the $655,000 in settlement money doing in your bank account? Maybe another car, resurfaced pool, rehab for someone special.
“You have no power here, Be Gone before someone drops a house on you too”
You only wish I was a liar.
I know you won’t believe it, but your sides legal team presented documents from 2009 at the County Board that only had three names on them. Erin Kutnik, Duane Stiff and Trudy Podobas.
The documents were submitted as proof by the union side. One really telling document is dated April 29, 2009 and I will quote:
“On April 27, 2009, Wendy Benkert and I (Dave Wilson, Business Manager) met with you (Letter was to Trudy Podobas and Erin Kutnik) and Duane Stiff and discussed the the process in which to change the method for electing trustees in the CUSD”
This is on Orange County Department of Education letterhead.
Further, I explained exactly what Beneke and Draper *who are County Committee members did.
I really don’t have the time to play games with the facts. You had better talk to your legal team about what they submitted before you start ranting that I am not telling the truth.
The facts are so rich, there is no need to embellish them.
“The union side”….every time you post that drivel you lose credibility. Just when I think you might have a valid argument opposing H you pull out “the union is behind it” crap. I know the people who got H and the Recall on the ballot and I know for a fact that the unions had nothing to do with it. Do you sit around your kitchen table and make this stuff up? It is total bs and deep down you know it and you should be deeply ashamed of yourself.
Get honest for once. You just want it to stay the way it is because you figured out how to game the system to your advantage. Hundreds of thousands of dollars of advantage
I noted above who the early initiators were for the concept of Trustee by area and the union side presented the proof themselves as part of their declarations.
Additionally, the judge (as she was laying down the law about the union’s false and misleading statements in their ballot statements) along with agreement by both sides concluded that the union was involved in the process to get measure H to the ballot.
The only reason the union didn’t get their narrow statement struck was due to the fact that only the board can put the measure on the ballot and thus, it was technically factual that the union didn’t ‘put it on the ballot’.
This is now old news and everyone is learning the ‘rest of the story’
“what a crock”
Please, we need to rebuild CUSD, not keep the status quo, which has plagued this district for years. Obviously what you advocate hasn’t worked, so step aside.
