Rumors are swirling that the Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez (D-Santa Ana) could soon be walking down the aisle. Roll Call, a Capitol Hill newspaper, has received multiple tips that Sanchez recently became engaged to her boyfriend, retired Army Col. Jack Einwechter.
Who is Einwechter? From what I have read over the years, he may have been assigned, by the Army, to act as an escort to Sanchez. At the time he was married – and it is my understanding that he has eight kids.
Eiwechter eventually retired from the military and I found more information about him in a blog post that included these excerpts:
It has been widely alleged that Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez has been involved in an intimate relationship with her former military escort and current homeland security and defense lobbyist, John (Jack) P. Einwechter, currently “Of Counsel” at the DC law firm of Greenberg Traurig. So in the name of clearing the issue up for the many readers who come to the blog searching for the “Loretta Sanchez scandal,” I thought that I would get to the bottom of it as best as I could with my research and from information from a source close to the Einwechter family, especially since there is an appearance of a conflict of interest with this particular relationship as it relates to the committees Rep. Sanchez serves on.

“From what I have read over the years, he may have been assigned, by the Army, to act as an escort to Sanchez.”…….. Hmmm
Obviously he is a legal prostitute. While on duty, they were having sex, and the government was paying for that. (and Sanchez is the government)
What I can’t understand is how stupid you are Pedroza that you did supported here just because she is a Latina.
Well seeing a picture of the Martinez, Pulido and Tinajero on the right of this page may explain your Mexican morality.
I voted for Ceci.
Sure, but you did campaign against her opponent Tran.
For good or bad, I would get more from Tran in congress than I am getting from the sex-crave Sanchez.
However, your hate for Vietnamese does not allow you to be rational.
Lies. I endorsed Phu Nguyem and Bao Nguyem in the general election.
If I am not mistaking you have endorsed Phu Nguyem only to defeat an another white person who you hate from Costa Mesa.
Your hate gives us the garbage government who is condoning the obscene pay to government workers including the SAUSD.
So you got what you pray for….. so be happy.
What do you think you will get from Martinez, Pulido, Tinajero trojka?….. Huh?
Fiala,
I endorsed and voted for plenty of white candidates in the November election, including, for example, Jerry Brown.
You are barking up the wrong tree.
As for your last question, I would say that they will do a great job running our City. I look forward to working with them in that endeavor.
Unfortunately your trojka has 4 years of failure record so I do not know based on what you can “say that they will do a great job running our City”. ….. you are so full of it.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they promised/gave you a job with the city beside being their webmaster.
Brown a white person?……. Hmmmm
He is brown, red, green, and black a rainbow clown however you voted for him because you did hate Meg.
Your politics are based on hate not on rationality.
I am sure that I can survive this temporary California’s Bolshevism relaxing on Beaches of Belize while you will eat yourself alive here .
Great post. Having just watched “Casino Jack” — the story of Jack Abramoff’s shenanigans with his lobbying business — the name Greenberg Traurig sounded familiar. And sure enough, this firm that her (alleged) new hubby’s working for is Abramoff’s old law firm. How many other pockets (and trousers) is she into? And why didn’t Van Tran make more of an issue out of this?
Check it out at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Team_Abramoff.
Doesn’t she approve military budgets?
Art, the engagement is a happy occasion; Jacks kids are grown-up well-adjusted adults; and he modified his law practice to comply with restrictions on lobbying his fiancee’s committees. The recycled blog rumors are wrong. There were no UCMJ violations or any improper lobbying. Those accusations are the product of runaway imaginations and mistaken inferences. People get divorced and remarried all the time. Who are we to judge what happened in this case? You should devote your energy and column space to issues of public concern. There is no shortage of those!
