Sad news. Mission Viejo council candidate Bill Barker passed away this morning

Sad news from Mission Viejo City Clerk.

“I am sorry to report that City Council Candidate and long time Mission Viejo resident Bill Barker passed away early this morning. Mr. Barker was discovered deceased by his wife, Nellie. He had a history of diabetes and hypertension and I am told that he died of cardiac arrest.”

Note: As a political and former church colleague of Bill I will not be adding anything further at this time other than to ask residents to pray for Nellie and the Barker family. His son Steve told me that he received notification at 4 a.m.
