Good morning, folks! I’m Tim Hirota, new blogger to the Orange Juice Blog. I’m sure Vern will post my bio soon, so I won’t bother.
I’d like to start off with an award presentation. I call it the “POS Award”. This particular award goes to people who, having gained our trust, proceed to violate that trust to their own ends.

Keene sings the national anthem with Tom DeLay and Morton Blackwell. Good times!
The award goes to David Keene, who is the head of the American Conservative Union.
Seems that Keene, with the help of his equally-worthless wife, stands accused of embezzling $400,000.00 of PAC funds.
Folks….I’ve said it CONSTANTLY: once we put these criminals in office (or give them ANY kind of power or responsibility), we are OBLIGATED to watch them like hawks, because when we don’t, THIS is what happens.
Though the investigation is not concluded, if this doofus is found guilty, I hope they prosecute him to the full extent of the law….
HEY! Wait a minute….a Conservative blogger writing a hit piece about a Conservative? YUP.
Let’s be clear: NO ideology holds a monopoly on corruption and, as a Conservative, my responsibilty to expose corruption, regardless of ideology…
Hirota: out!
Congrats on the blogging post Tim !!
This is a rough-and-tumble blog – I am certain that you are up to the task – best of luck to you.
Well, NOBODY is going to argue with this one, Hirota. What are you up to, I wonder?
Welcome. Good to start on an agreeable note. Let the fun begin.
Great a honest conservative, but at times it seems that honesty is a lacking more and more across the political spectrum.
Welcome Tim!
I look forward to reading your posts. Do you know anything about this John Acosta fellow who has a letter to the editor in the Register today about Santa Ana Mayor Miguel Pulido? He says he’s a former S.A. Councilmember and wants the Grand Jury to look into things in Santa Ana. What are your thoughts? Again, welcome to O.J.
I’d like to dedicate this song to you.
Morton Blackwell. A conservative blast from the past if you were around College Republicans in the 80s and 90s. Is he still running “Young America’s Foundation?” I love their dedication to limited goverment with Porn Warrior/former Attorney General Edwin Meese III on their speaker circuit.
Good to have you aboard, Hirota! Look forward to verbal jabs…I mean honest political discussions with you.
Way to pander to your audience Hirota. While I agree with your premise, I hope you turn your attention to the left as well to give some sense of balance on here (and for me to actually agree with a post for a change).
Newbie,
A criminal is a criminal whether on the Left or the Right.
Maybe you ought to see several posted articles before you level criticism.
Good bloggers attribute and link to their stories: http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=239505.
It took a while to find this, and while I don’t doubt its veracity even tho it’s from World Net Daily, I’d sure like to see it picked up by Fox News or Drudge.
Yeah unfortunately given our polarized media, it’ll probably only be on MSNBC and the Daily Show. Props to Hirota for keeping his side honest.
Vern. Did you say polarized media? Are you referring to Maddow and Keith O?
Yes, pretty much. I was saying, not that the moron Solanzo would understand, that Keith and Rachel will probably talk about the righwing scandal, while FOX will ignore it but go on about Rangel or Waters instead.
You consider either of those legitimate news sources, jailbird?
Idiot. You don’t understand anything I write.
Vern. Is this the same Tim who wrote “keep your laws off my body?”
Tim. Welcome aboard. I look forward to your future posts!
YUP.
Corruption is very, very bad.
