On Saturday April 9th, Kevin Smith will be hosting a screening of his latest movie “Red State” at the Wiltern Auditorium in Los Angeles. In a previous post, I wrote about “Red State” and Kevin Smith’s decision to forgo the traditional Hollywood distribution route and distribute this film on his own.
Tickets for this one night only event range from $55 to $65. There will be a Q&A with Kevin Smith after the screening.

Yes, I really want to hear about politics from this whining malcontent.
Politics aside, I am more interested in learning about why he chose to self distribute his film. Having seen him live a couple of times, he doesn’t really talk about politics much.
