The suspect in the Orange March 31 fatal shooting of 4, Aminadab G Gonzalez of Fullerton, is in critical condition. Another, female, victim is also in critical condition.
When the police showed up hearing gunshots, the gate was locked from inside, by the shooter, with a bike cable, which slowed them down. They shot suspect, were able to force gates open with bolt cutters, took suspect into custody; found two dead victims including 9-year old boy. Found wounded female victim; took her and suspect to hospital. Found three (three MORE dead victims – 2 females, 1 male. That is what PIO Amat said Thursday morning – she must have misspoken somehow because it is still FOUR DEAD, one female victim and the shooter hospitalized.) Suites were “UNIFIED HOMES BUSINESS.”
Recovered – semi-automatic handgun; backpack w/ pepper spray, handcuffs & ammo. Appears to be isolated incident; they all knew each other..
DA Spitzer says the shooter is eligible for the death penalty, and vows to take his time and not mess this up like his predecessor did with the Seal Beach mass shooting.

Second press conference Wed. night – not a whole lot more info – the two surviving victims are in critical condition – that’s the shooter and a female victim. Next press conference tomorrow at 10am, OPD station.
