On the sexism of Ray Gennawey & Stephanie Oddo.

Just when you thought the Ray Gennawey swamp could not get any murkier, a second-in-command rat made her presence to prove she could stink with the best of them. Ray has found his swamp rat mate, Mayor Pro-Tem Stephanie Oddo. In amazing displays of rude and tasteless behavior, the Laguna Niguel City Council has no peers. Haven’t we had enough drama from Gennawey and his brood? Where was Jeff when you voted for him? So Ray replaces Rischi Paul Sharma with Stephanie Winstead because she was 3rd highest vote-getter in the recent election but “craps” on Jeff Von Waldburg, who was the 4th highest vote-getter, cause……he can. Then has a “phony” application interview process to replace Sandy Rains. How was Jeff’s situation different from Winstead’s? Ray has the Napoleon complex in addition to being a jackass.  This whole city council has an exaggerated sense of self-entitlement. They act like they can walk on water just because they are white.

Ray and Stephanie. Although I was diverted by the theatrics of your sexist tirades during the July 26, 2023 council meeting against the female attorney who sent the City of Laguna Niguel a demand letter on behalf of her Laguna Niguel clients, why not try focusing on the issue: Is Laguna Niguel violating the CVRA? 

Rather than suggesting a woman attorney is only capable of doing her husband’s bidding, why not thoroughly analyze whether Laguna Niguel and its residents may benefit from transitioning to by-district elections?

Instead of exposing the City of Laguna Niguel to further costs and litigation by defaming a woman attorney, why not consider whether having representatives that all live within an approximately 3-mile radius is beneficial to those of us that do not live within your housing tract?

Rather than pushing a hyphenation on a woman who chooses not to use her married name in her professional life, why not ask why Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, Aliso Viejo, and Mission Viejo, all part of the same Assembly District, recently transitioned to district elections? (I understand the demand letters sent to these cities did not name a client; they came from a couple of different law firms.)

Although we understand you’re concerned because you, Mayor Jennings, Mayor Pro Tem Oddo, and Councilmember Gennawey all live within an approximately 3-mile radius of each other and may be forced to run against each other for a single seat, why not consider those of us that do not live next door to you but rather live in an apartment, the Laguna Serrano apartments, the Windridge apartments, and the Hidden Hills condominium rentals, or is it beneath you to visit our area of Laguna Niguel?

Councilmember Gennawey, perhaps you should brush up on your gender bias training. There is no reason to harass a woman merely to deflect from the real issue.

And Mayor Pro Tem Oddo, I am disappointed in your involvement in such blatant disrespect for a woman, and is addressing a person using the wrong pronoun acceptable to you? He/She.

If the CVRA is not a good law, speak to our Assembly person, the former wedding planner and Jennifer Beall puppet, Laurie Davies, [left] and have her introduce legislation to amend or repeal the CVRA. The supposed “Jill Biden look-alike” has all the talents of a failed wedding planner. Which she was. 

In the court of public judgment, no apology from the Laguna Niguel City Council could ever hope to atone for the flagrant disrespect unleashed upon this attorney, a champion for her clients. The deplorable conduct of this self-righteous, white elitist faction stands as an affront to decency. A mere apology will not suffice. This situation calls for a resounding act of accountability — the swift resignation of Napoleon Gennawey and his swampmate Oddo. Only then can we restore integrity and honor to the realm of public service.
