WHAT IS LOVE? Presenting Trump at the Roxbury!
Posted by The Huffington Post on Friday, August 7, 2015
There are plenty of things to talk about in the world right now, but only two of them are apparently mandatory. So let’s be like every other respectable media outlet today and invite your thoughts on the Republican Debates and the end of Jon Stewart’s tenure on The Daily Show. We have some inspirational photos for you related to each theme.

This was the actual audience in Cleveland prior to the Republican’s “Junior Varsity” debate. When you find yourself rooting for Jim Gilmore, you know that you’re taking things too seriously. Anyway, the consensus winner, who will be elevated to the varsity league: Demon Sheep!
And…

There are literally as many former Daily Show correspondents in this photo as there were audience members for the Republican “JV” debate, but that damned Rob Riggle, who didn’t have the sense or the decency to move to the back or at least against the wall, is blotting many of them out.
Plus, because this is your Weekend Open Thread, you can talk about anything else you’d like, within reasonable bounds of decency and discretion.

And Anaheim Insider wants to remind you-all of two events tomorrow (Saturday) that we announced early last weekend:
Please try to come out Saturday August 8, BEFORE YOU GO TO LAGUNA WOODS FOR THE JOHN DEAN TALK, to help out our friend, the persecuted and inspiring neighborhood activist Yesenia Rojas, at a classic Anaheim yard-sale fundraiser at 710 Anna Drive. Her young friend Guera writes on the Facebook event page:
An amazing community member from the city of Anaheim needs our help to raise funds for her recent legal issues. She has done a lot for the community and we refuse to see her go anytime soon. Please help us by donating clothing, toys, electronics, household objects, etc that can be used to be sold at this yard sale! If you’re able to donate money wonderful! But if not all of us have those few things we’ve been meaning to take to goodwill but havent had the time to. Please donate to our yardsale and also stop by and check it out you might find some great stuff. If anyone has donations please message my personal facebook and let me know. See y’all soon ! (:
And then, yes, the John Dean talk in Laguna Woods at 5…
The leading candidates:
(1) The Trumpster is a Rumster.
(2) Christie makes you Misty
(3) The Jeb Web
(4) Kasich – Just call me Johnny boy!
(5) Rand Paul…….get the U-Haul
(6) Ted Cruz is a snooze!
(7) Carson Late Night……”Here’s……..Lonnie!”
(8) Huckabee…..a real Cluck-a-bee!
(9) Rubio – Cubio!
(10) Walker …the talker!
This is our top 10, after the debate. Trump probably stayed at 27%, because the nutso’s out there will not change their minds. Frank Lutz did nothing but give Trump
further press….by sayin he is now out of it. He is not. Christie and Kasich made ground. The also rans in the “B Group” have no chance of moving out of there without one of them taking an early Primary State which is highly unlikely. Carly sounds good on paper…..but will never hit the “A Group” …..Rick Perry is only missing an extensive
military record of service. In fact…….which Presidential Candidates have served? Lindsay Graham…..the Air Force? Just guessing. Anyway, Kasich worked for Lehman Bros. until 2009. He supported the Assault Weapons Ban and gets a “F” from the NRA. He is the Governor of Ohio. The rest of the group…..are really, really bad.
Trump is funny, he does everything in “4’s”…..Four BK’s, Four Deferments and Four
Wives…..maybe?
Word is that Graham served in the Air Cushion Force.
He was a JAG lawyer. But he sure loves him some war, and some War Heroes!
No, it’s worse than that (especially given that there’s nothing wrong with that.). A new report on his hurtling up the ranks through soft duty came out within the past couple of weeks. I’ll see if I can find it.
What happened to Vince Sarmiento’s “crooked” deal? Did that thing materialize?? What about his waterwasting? Where does Vince really live?
All asked (here and elsewhere) but NEVER answered. I saw the awkward exchange with “Busty”on TV Tuesday night, strange stuff.
Is this just another Rob Richardson (think Curt Pringle) operitive who speaks spanish and has a LOT (LOTS AND LOTS) of money?
Is anybody listening to what is being said?
I realize that some people here may not mourn, but when the time comes I’ll mourn enough for the all of us.

But can you imagine having lived a more productive and fulfilling 90 years?
I don’t know that I could imagine having lived a more productive and fulfilling 900 years.
