Making It Easy For You

I can’t find my ballot!

Don’t worry, our state has made it easy for you: you can go to a vote center on election day, get a new one, and cast it right there.

What the hell is a vote center and how do I find one?

They’ve made it easy for you to find vote centers and drop boxes at this link. Vote centers have replaced neighborhood polling places, given that so many people now vote by mail or use drop boxes.

I don’t know who to vote for!

We’ve made it easy for you with our short list of endorsements, which you can literally read on your phone at the voting center, or fill out your choices beforehand if you have a sample ballot.

Don’t know which races are on your ballot? The Registrar of Voters has made it easy for you

First, look up what districts you are in at this link.

Just moved and aren’t sure where to vote?

The state has made it easy for you! So long as you haven’t already voted, especially in another county!, you can register at any voting centers.

Want to write in a candidate?

We’ll make it easy for you: you can write in any name you want where there’s a space for it, but it won’t be counted unless it’s one of these three:

  • KEN GOLEMO for MEMBER, CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF MISSION VIEJO, DISTRICT 4
  • JEFF BUCHANAN for MEMBER, CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF PLACENTIA, DISTRICT 4
  • TERRY RAINS for MAYOR, CITY OF WESTMINSTER

(We’ve endorsed Terry Rains; we’re for Aprati in Mission Viejo Dist. 4; and sure, vote for Buchanan over Chad Wanke.)

About Greg Diamond

Somewhat verbose attorney, semi-disabled and semi-retired, residing in northwest Brea. Occasionally ran for office against jerks who otherwise would have gonr unopposed. Got 45% of the vote against Bob Huff for State Senate in 2012; Josh Newman then won the seat in 2016. In 2014 became the first attorney to challenge OCDA Tony Rackauckas since 2002; Todd Spitzer then won that seat in 2018. Every time he's run against some rotten incumbent, the *next* person to challenge them wins! He's OK with that. Corrupt party hacks hate him. He's OK with that too. He does advise some local campaigns informally and (so far) without compensation. (If that last bit changes, he will declare the interest.) His daughter is a professional campaign treasurer. He doesn't usually know whom she and her firm represent. Whether they do so never influences his endorsements or coverage. (He does have his own strong opinions.) But when he does check campaign finance forms, he is often happily surprised to learn that good candidates he respects often DO hire her firm. (Maybe bad ones are scared off by his relationship with her, but they needn't be.)
