I have come across a website that directly takes on the Catholic Church regarding the child molesters in their ranks. Click here to see that site for yourself.
The website, called Bishop Accountability, includes victims’ accounts; a database of accused priests; a photo archive of accused priests; and something called “Abuse Tracker.”
You can also search for specific names, such as Monsignor John Urell, who famously covered up for various molesters. You may recall that GOP blogger Matt “Jerbal” Cunningham launched a “Urell Amigos” website which backfired when he screwed up and revealed the names of several victims of molestation.
How Jerbal can stomach these people is a very good question.
Thanks for posting this site, Art. It’s an amazing data resource, albiet a sad, sickening one. Just think of it as the tip of the iceberg and you really start getting depressed – and angry.
This is an amazing website, and not just because they always post my stories!

Keep Up the Good Work, Gustavo!:
😉
Just came out: “Losing My Religion”, by William Lobdell, the former LA Times religion columnist, who went from conflicted born-again christian to relaxed agnostic after doing a series of investigative reports on the Catholic church’s defense of priest pedophiles. This is a fascinating read covering high and low profile impacts of religion on people in Orange Co.
Thanks for the coverage, Gustavo!
Case #08CF3283 in progress. Next court date 4/21/09.
