“Mimi Walters appears to be running one of the wingnuttiest campaigns in California history in her bid to get elected to the State Senate,” according to Robert Cruickshank, at the California Progress Report. Cruickshank is absolutely right! He also reported that “Now she is touting her anti-immigrant credentials, even at the cost of fiscal responsibility on the state budget.”
Look no further than MImi’s latest crazy mailer. I posted part of it above. And check out the image below.
Why is Walters running such a racist campaign? And who is advising her? I looked up Mimi’s campaign finance reports. See the graphic below for some of the names on that report. One name that shows up a lot is Gina Zari, who is Walter’s chief of staff in Sacramento. I found a weird blog post about Zari that insinuated that she had an affair with Ray Haynes. Strange. At any rate, here is the question, which one of the consultants named in Mimi’s reports, is the one putting out these racist mailers?
fix the pix!
the photo linkage is stinkage!

Mimi is on a roll! She’s already out with an anti-gay marriage statement and she’s gonna fight the California Supreme Court tooth and nail, to the ground! Pickin on gays, immigrants, and Indian-American Republicans, her playbook is rapidly emerging. Hey Heather, would Gary rather run against Mimi or Harry?
Vern honey, I’m not touching that one with a ten foot poll. They both have a lot more money than we do and I don’t think Gary has an advantage over either of them. I just hope they tone down the hate, it does nothing for any of us in this district.
At any rate, here is the question, which one of the consultants named in Mimi’s reports, is the one putting out these racist mailers?
Art, that would be the same consultant running Janet’s campaign and doing her mail.
Hehe. Good one Jubal. 🙂
What hate? What’s racist about not encouraging people to break our laws?
I think it is Meridian Pacific. It is similar to their other mailers in other states. They won a pollie award for a similar one. Gina Zari is a large contributor to Matt Rexroad.
Uh, no. Look at the campaign finance report that was posted above. Meridian Pacific isn’t on there.
