DPOC Chairman Frank Barbaro sent this note earlier this week inviting folks to a memorial in honor of Noah Krom:
Everyone is invited to pay their respects to the Krom family at a Memorial Service followed by Shiva prayers this Thursday, June 11th at 7:15 p.m at Congregation B’nai Israel in Tustin.
Here are the details:
Thursday, June 11th
7:15 p.m.
Congregation B’nai Israel
2111 Bryan Avenue
Tustin, CA
(If the lot is full, street parking will be permitted)
“Many of you have asked how you can remember Noah through a contribution. The Krom Family is in the process of establishing the Noah J. Krom Foundation to help carry Noah’s legacy forward and realize the dreams he held in his heart. Details will be forthcoming about how you can contribute. E-mail Caryn Puma here if you would like to be notified when the foundation is able to receive contributions,” according to the O.C. Weekly.
In related news, the Daily Pilot is reporting that “Democrat Beth Krom’s campaign for U.S. Rep. John Campbell’s 48th District seat will continue indefinitely after the candidate observes seven days of prayer after the unexpected death of her 22-year-old son, her campaign manager said Thursday.”
“There hasn’t been any decisions made. We are going to honor her faith and give them a week of prayer,” said Krom’s campaign manager, Melahat Rafiei.
“Noah, the second child and oldest son of Beth Krom and her husband Solly, grew up in Irvine, attending Vista Verde School and University High School. He was scheduled to graduate from UC Santa Barbara this Sunday with a degree in business economics and sports management,” according to the O.C. Register.
Please let me know when the Noah Krom Foundation is set up and ready to accept contributions.
