“President Obama has ordered national security officials to look into allegations that the Bush administration resisted efforts to investigate a CIA-backed Afghan warlord over the killings of hundreds of Taliban prisoners in 2001,” according to CNN.
The inquiry stems from the deaths of at least 1,000 Taliban prisoners who had surrendered to the U.S.-backed Northern Alliance in late 2001.
The fighters were in the custody of troops led by Gen. Abdul Rashid Dostum, a prominent Afghan warlord who has served as chief of staff of the country’s post-Taliban army.
Former Bush Vice President Dick Cheney is already being investigated for starting a CIA operation without telling Congress. Now this. The wheels appear to be falling off the Bush Neocon team. I wonder what country might give them sanctuary? Does Bush have any allies left in the world?
Here you go Art, someone who can agree with your lunatic post.
Stanley Fiala writes:
Country like USA can’t act and support Nazi like death marches of prisoners no matter where they happen.
Remember that the CIA officers were present.
Do you rectal the American Taliban guy being interrogated by one of these CIA guys?
Stop defending these two evils Bush and Cheney.
The article states: “U.S. officials said Friday they did not have legal grounds to investigate the deaths because only foreigners were involved and the alleged killings occurred in a foreign country.”….. Huh?
Wasn’t 6,000,000 Jews only foreigners and killings occurred in a foreign country?
The fact is that the USA invaded Afghanistan and there are laws on how the invasion forces must behave.
FYI Mr Freedom! That comment was copy write protected so not only that you are vicariously liable for the murders committed by your government — which you have elected by your willful, wanton and capricious vote with actual malice — but now you have also committed a copyright felony in the eye of the FBI.
Art, that’s one of the funniest (except for Mr’s. Jerbies little pink car) images I’ve seen in a while. Please teach me how to use photo-shop.
