If you want to take a stand against taxes and government waste, you can do so this weekend by walking precincts for Supervisor Chris Norby, who is the leading GOP candidate to replace Mike Duvall in the 72nd Assembly District. We can trust Norby to fight taxes and to not cut deals with the Democrats, unlike his Republican opponent, Linda Ackerman, whose husband Dick was part of the problem in Sacramento when he was in the State Legislature.
In related news, Linda Ackerman is having a precinct walk too, but apparently she is holding it where she really lives, in Irvine, which is not in the 72nd. Not sure that will help her much in this race…
Here are the details about Norby’s precinct walk:

thanks mr. pedroza! i’ll be there with a group of young moms like me who are sick and tired of increasing taxes. I’m putting out the word in my MOPS group and we should have a nice group of walkers. I’m going to also put flyers on cars at the kids sports games and at church on Sunday. Go Mr. Norby!!
Good luck to Chris Norby and all of you! Chris has got some fans here in Sierra Madre.
