Gary Headrick from San Clemente Greens just emailed me about an event that I think anyone living in Orange, L.A. and Riverside County will be interested in attending. I am sure you all heard on the news and from our own Ron & Anna Winship that Southern California Edison is laying off about 730 employees to cut costs in the near future.
There is a lot more to that story and I am sure residents would like to know more about what could happen since it looks like San Onofore will stay closed. Instead of me telling you about the events I will just let Gary speak for himself. In other words this is a press release.
We are pleased to promote these two presentations, both on August 25, and hope you will share this with your friends, especially those living to the south of our nuclear power plant.
Thanks,
Gary“The Risks of Restarting the Damaged San Onofre Nuclear Plant”

*Inge – thanks for the info…..very true sadly. The good news is that So. Cal Edison
doesn’t just lay off 730 folks without a good reason…..or two..
wow. wow. yes, two wows one for each plant that may be shutting down forever.
i’m NE of the plant, in OC, so won’t be attending the SD events, but it doesn’t get any better than Dan Hirsch (except for Michael Mariotte at NIRS).
