Rewards offered after two more gang killings in Pulido’s “safest city in Orange County”

Many of us laughed when Santa Ana Mayor Miguel Pulido kept insisting in his mailers during his recent reelection campaign that Santa Ana is one of the “safest cities in Orange County.”  Mere days after the election two more young men were murdered in Santa Ana.  Now the SAPD is offering a $50,000 reward for information that would help them arrest the killers.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact the Santa Ana Police Department at 714-245-8648,” according to the O.C. Register.

Didn’t the SAPD cop’s union promote the stupid and falacious line about Santa Ana being one of the “safest citeis in Orange County” in several walk pieces and mailers that they used to promote Team Pulido?  If anyone should have known this was a lie it was our cops!  And yet they brazenly lied their pants off in order to get their sugar daddy Pulido reelected.  How revolting!

Clearly Santa Ana is not a safe city – which is obvious as the bodies continue to pile up…

    John says:

If Santa Ana is so safe why does none of the SAPD command staff or the City Manager live in Santa Ana? Someone should bring this up more often because its disgusting.
