Is Tom Daly pulling out of the Supervisors race in the 4th District?

Please explain the comment that Norby’s handlers wouldn’t allow him to endorse Daly. I thought Norby’s handlers were John Lewis and his crew. Isn’t Norby’s campaign consultant (John Lewis) the same one who is working for Daly?

I’d say Norby would have enough sense on his own not to endorse Daly, and his handlers wouldn’t like it.

This is a sad day for Clerk Recorder employees. We were all hoping for a change. Tom Daly and Renee Ramirez are two idiots, they dont give a damm about any of the employees. I have been working here for over 5 years and morale is so bad that we all hate coming to work. Renee has been trying so hard to boost morale, but we feel it’s a little too late.

Renee you are such a fake and Tom Daly is so stupid to have you as his assistant Clerk Recorder. You and Tom Daly are the problems in this department. I wish the public can see what is really going on in this department.

The sad part is that Tom Daly only talks to the young girls and he is married. Tom Daly hired all his friends and that is just as bad as nepotism that Renee use to do.

It’s unethical for an elected official to hired all his friends. This department needs a change and TOM DALY and RENEE RAMIREZ must GO!!!!!

Who are the lobbyists who donated to Daly’s campaign? If you have seen the money going into his account, please name examples of donors. It would be a public service.

I deal with the Clerk-Recorder’s office all the time in my profession, and I cannot imagine that the ignorant butchery of the English language posted here is at all related to that staff. While someone desperately wants us to believe that malcontents populate the C-R office, I do not believe it. A review of the spelling and grammar posted here reveals this to be the same person posting again and again in an attempt to appear as Legion. Nobody actually buys this sock puppet act do they?

Tom Daly will have my support for any office he chooses to pursue. He was an excellent Mayor of Anaheim, and he has done an exemplary job as Clerk-Recorder. Prior to Tom’s work at the County, I would frankly rather shove bamboo shoots under my nails than deal with the arrogant “it’s not my job” staff over there. After Tom came to Santa Ana, staff became much more responsive to patron service. Heck, there is even someone at the Help desk now. My favorite move was taking the Archives out of mothballs! I can point to multiple historic properties that have been saved and rehabilitated thanks to the research we can now do in the Old Courthouse; research we were unable to manage prior to Tom Daly’s election to Clerk Recorder.

If anyone posting here is indeed an employee of the Clerk-Recorder’s office, their ignorant misuse of language shows that they are woefully unqualified for their professional positions, and it is that poor fit of skill to task that creates an unhappy work environment, not the employer.

If Tom chooses to stay at the C-R office, I will rejoice that my professional visits will continue to be handled with the courtesy and efficiency I have come to expect under his supervision. Should he choose to take that management skill to the County Supe’s office, I will support that race as well. As for Tom running against Lorri and Harry, remember that neither of them actually lives in the 4th District, nor are they popular here. Tom Daly is Anaheim’s favorite son, and the fact that his opposition is so desperate to undermine him that they have to pretend to be many other people is telling of the defeat ahead. If Tom really had that much opposition, at least a few of them would be capable of stringing together a coherent sentence. Try harder next time.

I hope Philis Bacerra and Claudia Gallegos work on his campaign, stab him in the back and run Daly’s campaign into the ground. I am no fan of Tom Weakly and will work very hard to make sure his inability to control his department is shared with the voters of the 4th Supervisorial District. The widespread low morale in the Clerk Recorders Office is just one of the testaments to his lack of leadership skills.

Tom Daly still has a fight on his hands for the 4th Supervisorial District and I am so glad Lorri Galloway is going to take away his votes.
